Edward Tolley is a renowned criminal defense attorney, a crack civil and business litigator, a leading authority on the law and legal ethics, and an active community leader.

As a criminal attorney, Tolley is often requested by fellow attorneys to represent defendants in high-profile cases. As a civil litigator, he has won multi-million-dollar judgments in business and contract disputes and substantial settlements for plaintiffs in personal injury and wrongful death cases.

Tolley is licensed to practice in all of Georgia’s state and federal courts, in federal district and appeals courts and in the Supreme Court of the United States. He has presented numerous lectures and seminars on the law and professional ethics.

The Texas native holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in business from the University of Georgia and a Juris Doctor degree from the UGA School of Law. He has been a member of the State Bar of Georgia since 1975. He is a member of the Federal Bar Association (middle district), the American Board of Criminal Lawyers, the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and a past president of the Western Circuit Bar Association.

He also is a past president of the Clarke County Board of Education and a retired officer in the U.S. Army Reserve.
